COVID Protocol Q&A

Competition Forms

  • Photo & Video Release

Each team member must fill out and sign the photo and video release. Team members under 18 must also have their parent/guardian sign the release as well. All releases must be turned in at on-site registration in Little Rock.

  • Team Rosters: Prosecution | Defense

Each team is required to complete competing team rosters that accurately reflect the competing team members for each side of the case each round. Forms must be electronically filled out and printed before the competition round. Barring a last-second emergency, handwritten copies ought not be used. Copies will be exchanged with the opposing team and presented to the Presiding and Scoring judges during pretrial. We recommend bringing 15 to 20 copies of each roster for the preliminary rounds and 14 for the Championship Round.

  • Larry Bakko Professionalism and Civility Award

Each team will be asked to nominate another team for the Larry Bakko Professionalism and Civility Award. Ballots will be provided at registration, and teams will need to submit their ballot at the conclusion of Round 4.

Judging Forms

  • What to Look for When Scoring
  • Scoring Matrix

Judges will be given these documents during orientation and will be instructed to use them as a guide for scoring the performances during the trials.

Timekeeper Materials

  • Timekeeper Form
  • Timekeeper Manual
  • Timecards: Openings & Closings | Direct Examination | Cross Examination

Timekeepers will receive timecards, timekeeper forms, and two timers at registration.

Miscellaneous

  • Guide for First Time Teams

First name to Nationals? Congratulations! Take a look at this guide to see what to expect.

  • Tabroom: Team Instructions | Presiding/Scoring Judge Instructions

Tabroom Instructions: This year, we will be using Tabroom.com to have judges fill out electronic ballots. We will need all teams to register their teams using Tabroom, and all judges will need to have a Tabroom account as well. (This registration is in addition to the registration on the website.) You will find detailed instructions for registering with Tabroom at the link. (All teams must do this before arriving in Little Rock.)
